Secretariat

The Secretariat for the Governing Body is provided by the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission. The Secretary, CERC functions as the Executive Secretary of the Forum, while the Assistant Secretary, CERC functions as Executive Treasurer of the Forum. There is also a provision for three Joint Secretaries representing each of the Eastern, Southern and Western Regions. The secretariat works in an honorary capacity.
